Severe Thunderstorm Warning

Issued at 15:15 Tuesday 07 August 2018

At 3:15 p.m. ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. ### Heavy downpours are likely to cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Very strong wind gusts can damage buildings, down trees and blow large vehicles off the road. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
