Spring Storm

Well there is a heavy rainfall warning on for my area and North of here it's forecast for them to possibly get upwards of 25 to 30cm of snow.
Most of the day it was more misty and drizzle, that kinda stuff when you're walking in it and it's like someone's got a spritz bottle and they are spritzing mist in your face.
I had gone to the grocery store to pick up a couple things before it really started to rain. Around 5 O'clock, it was jut raining a little, when I thought I heard a rumbling.. So I shut off the television and sure enough, we got our first thunderstorm! W00T!
It didn't turn out to be all that exciting, few rumbles, caught a couple flashes, had a bit of a monsoon with some hail. Winds are supposed to pick up tonight to over 50km/hr. But the rain will soon ease off, I think by midnight.

I just finished a horrible movie called 'And Deliver Us From Evil'... Don't watch it, it's dumb dumb dumb.
I did find a great flick to watch though, it's called 'He Who Get's Slapped', it's a REAL old one! 19 24! Lon Chaney plays a scientist who gets his worked ripped off by a close friend and finds out his wife is cheating on him with this 'close friend'.. Double whammy. When he finds all this out, his 'wife' calls him a clown and then it's off to the future a few years later and Lon Chaney is now a clown... I haven't watched it yet, so I can't tell you how it ends, but it's super creepy looking and quite bizarre! Two of my favorite criteria for a movie.
I really dig the old black & white silent films. Something about them, not sure what. I do know that for years I had this reoccurring dream and I don't recall ever seeing Errol Flynn in 'Robin Hood' (1938), but in this dream, which I recall it was in black and white, and I don't recall if it was myself in the dream, but it had a bunch of men fighting their way through a castle. Years later when i was this version of 'Robin Hood', I couldn't help but have this feeling of 'deja-vu' and knew right away that this was so uncanny that it would be just like the dream I had. Each time I had this dream, which for as far as I can recall, it seemed to rear up every couple of years or so, the fighting would get further and further along in the castle. In the end, i don't know if we/ or whomever was fighting made it out of the castle, saved some damsel in distress, found treasure, who knows.

When we lived at Elmcroft place, my Mom took in borders from UNB, usually ESL students, but we had some Engineers and other students. I remember going to see the Tod Browning movie 'Freaks', which was made in 1932 with one of these students. If you've never seen this film, I beg you to do so. Now that I'm older and understand that there are people who exist like this in the World today ( I mean, I actually have known this seeing this film), I see it from a different mindset, but as a kid when I saw this, I couldn't help but laugh my guts out at these 'freaks', people with very real diseases or just born with very awful deformations. I do remember closer to the end of the film, which I think we saw at Marshall Davery Hall, that it did dawn on me that these were actual people. It's quite a shocking movie and one that anyone who calls themselves a 'film buff' should take in.

Don't dismiss the 'old' movies, for they are gems and inspirations for all the garbage movies they make today!

The Mystery of Justine Beerburp & His Canceled World Tour

So, no, I don't have any love for Justin Bieber. I do, have an interest in 'mega-stars' their rise to fame and often their downfalls.
Justin Bieber or as I affectionately call him 'Justine Beerburp' had been an anomaly to me for a while.
The guy seemed to do a lot wrong, but always got away with it. I was really pissed off when he had been caught speeding in Florida and was charged with that offence as well as reckless driving. That along with other charges that ranged from assault to vandalism and DUI.
My anger was this, Bieber, as much as many of us hate to admit it is Canadian, and if I or you had committed most of if not all of the crimes that this punk has, we'd be kicked out of the US and probably barred from returning (usually you won't be allowed to enter the US or other countries if you have a criminal record).
Beerburp  mug shot

Obviously, being a 'superstar' has it's privileges.
In July of 2017, news in the music world spoke that Justin had all of a sudden canceled the remaining dates of his World tour. Then, he dropped off the face of the World. There was no more Bieber news... Which, is GREAT!
But, because I'm curious, I had to wonder, why did he drop the tour? I mean, that's a shitload of cash he lost and most likely, legally had to make major payouts for canceling shows at arenas, forums, festivals, ticket money refunded to fans, that's a major deal for an 'artist'.
So what happened?
There was little to no news on what happened, there were some rumors that he had a breakdown, that he just needed a rest because he'd been touring too hard and then, there was the rumor he'd found 'god'.
Now, I admit that 'TMZ' isn't the best news source on the planet. BUT, I'll give it to them, when it comes to celebs they get their people as far up a stars poopshoot as they can.
Rumors were that Biebs had been seen going to this church each Sunday and other days of the week. Some pics even surfaced of him going to this church and some video showed him trailed by reporters asking what had happened to the tour and what he was up to.
Proof is in the puddin' Bieber at church in California

So, Justine's turned to 'god' eh? What the heck? Why? How'd this happen? It didn't sound like he'd gone into rehab for any drugs or alcohol issues, so what was going on here? Why had the mighty, dirty, raunchy, out of control Beerburp killed off his tour to end up at church services?

Some investigating brought up an interesting answer.

Searching the web, which was initiated after I had been listening to a PODcast, I found a story about one evening Bieber and his entourage had gone to this mega industry party. He and his gang were hanging around when Bieber, it is alleged was approached and told that if he wanted to REALLY elevate his status as a star, like, he was famous already, but if he really wanted to reach that status of 'superstar', ala Michael Jackson or Jay Z Or Johnny Depp, then he'd have to join an 'exclusive club'....
Now at this party, it is claimed, Beerburp was told that there was a young man there and by 'young man' it is alleged that this was a preteen boy. It's alleged that Beerburp was told that in order to "join the club" that he must engage in sexual depravities with this child and most shocking of all, he was told he'd have to kill the boy. This kind of story, believe it or not is not new to the music industry or to Hollywood. A recent documentary that the powers that be have tried to quash called 'An Open Secret' investigates the young actor/model scene in Hollywood, in which young men and women are offered great parts, but they end up at parties where they are usually drugged and end up in compromising videos and photos. Allegations of this shocking 'scene' has been raised by everyone from the kid who played 'Willis' on 'Different Strokes to Corey Feldman and Corey Haim (who's chronic drug abuse allegedly stemmed from the abuse he went through as a young actor).

So, this was the offer that Beerburp was presented with. Beerburp, at least seems to maybe have some type of decency, declined the 'offer' and immediately left the party. It's said that this story was told by Beerburp himself during a meeting at his church and is the real reason WHY he dropped his tour. He'd uncovered the disgusting underbelly of the entertainment world and rejected it. Which like him or not, it may be the most decent move this kids ever made.

2017 was supposed to be the year that these 'child sex rings in the entertainment industry' were to be outed and exposed, but the Harvey Wienstein and #Metoo movement have all but buried many claims and the documentary 'An open Secret'.
Since the 1970's, rumors and allegations of child sex rings have broiled to the top of the newsworld only to be soon buried. Boys Town and many other incidents are out there to be learnt about. In the UK, Jimmy Saville and Gary Glitter were charged with years of child sexual assaults. These investigations fanned out to include some of the biggest names in the UK, in particular among the British government.
Casting couches exist in near every occupation out there. The abuse happens to men and women. So it wasn't too much of a surprise to hear what had happened to Beerburp.
Over the last many months Corey Feldman had been trying to get as much exposure on talk shows and YouTube, attempting to raise money, some 15/20million dollars, to fund a documentary and expose the child sex abusers of Hollywood... Which is ridiculous. Just expose them, you don't need t make a damn film about it, if it's true, just do it, if it's not go back to touring with your 'angels' and dancing like Michael Jackson....

Again, I don't like anything about Justine Beerburp, but at least it sounds like he MAY have a bit of a decent spine in him to reject 'super-stardom' if it meant he had to give not only his soul, but the soul of some poor innocent child who no doubt had been abducted from his own life and was now a plaything of truly sick and vile monsters.

I'm providing a link to a news story on Justine Beerburp and these allegations, as well as the link to the documentary 'An Open Secret'. It's an amazing and shocking film, I really recommend watching it. After I had seen it and read up a bit more on the sick underbelly of Hollywood, I had almost wanted to completely shun any movie made. It's truly disgusting that we huemahns are seemingly sliding backwards on our own excrement down the evolutionary scale, instead of going forward and evolving into a race of proper humans who can all live together no matter what ethnicity or gender. Underneath it all, we're all supposed to be the same animal, though it would seem, not only seem, it is a fact that some of our fellow huemahns are not like us at all and maybe the best thing for them is to die off so we can be done with them those who ruin so many people's lives.

It's All Gone...

Well, so much for that. I don't know how, why or when I lost my occult e-library. I had collected some 50 books, ranging from the occult history of the nazis to majik of the Egyptians and just tons more. I tried to reboot my old Toshiba laptop to see if they might still be on there, but that laptop is hooped. I checked my USB drives, I checked some CD-Roms I had.. Nuthin'... I did find a couple of books that I had on my Blackberry tablet and to I did have more on there, but before I left for Cuba I had made space on there for some movies, but the drive was so small that I couldn't even fit on one tv program and .... I deleted a bunch of the e-books on there thinking, 'It's no problem, I've them saved on my laptop'... WRONG

The only saving grace was Elsa. Because my backs been so bad, I've taken to putting a bunch of pillows behind it when I'm at my laptop. I had just got up and Elsa decided she wanted up on my chair that I sit in at the laptop. As she jumped up, her claws dug into one of the pillows and she and the pillow went tumbling to the floor, it was very much lacking in grace that attempt and she really had a good tumble, so much so that I burst out laughing and well, Elsa I guess was embarrassed and when I started laughing, I guess that pissed her off, so as I started to walk away laughing she came at my legs... Tough luck for her that I'm wearing jeans with long-johns underneath them... So her attack was in vain but she kept clawing my leg and trying to attack my feet.
That cat slays me. She's so funny, has such a short fuse.

Now, I guess it's time to start rebuilding that library....

Literature

I like to read, guess I'm from that generation of physical books. I've got a modest 'library', I'd love to have more, but I've been bouncing between physical and 'E-books'. The E-Books of course being easier to store, but there's something about having a library that I like. I don't have many guests to my place, so it's not like I like to show it off, but I guess it's somewhat of a mental accomplishment that I can look at my shelves and look at all the information I've crammed into my head.

For the longest time I've had this 'problem', well I don't see it as a problem myself but others might.
I don't really fancy reading Fiction. My notion on that is that I dislike reading someone else's fantasies.
There's been authors I do enjoy; as a kid I picked up H.P. Lovecraft's books, I have a good collection of his works and I have my prized Lovecraft piece which is a hardcover, huge Necronomicon. I never noticed it as a kid when I read it, but I am rather happy that our family name is actually mentioned in the Necronomicon's opening. I mean it's not us in particular, no relative but it does mention a man with the last name of "Waddell". I was browsing some Lovecraft stuff on Ebay years ago and came across this deluxe Necronomicon for like $20! I couldn't believe it! So I scooped it up.
I also enjoyed Clive Barker's books. Starting with the 'Books of Blood' I moved on to The Great & Secret Show, Imajica and The Thief of Always. I had a much bigger collection of Barker works but I lent them to a 'friend' when I lived in Vancouver and that 'friend' moved away and took them. Lesson learned, no one borrows books from me anymore. I was really bummed out about that. I've built the collection back up, but it's nowhere what it was and most of it was hardcover editions.
In my 20's I got into Brian Lumley's 'Necroscope' series. But eventually tired of it.
In the last couple of decades I've been reading on subjects like American intel and espionage. Cosmology, including books on Mars, Black Holes, Time Travel. More in the realm of science I've read up on parallel universes and dimensions and then of course books on my favorite subject of lost and forgotten civilizations.
I also have assorted religions texts, variations of the bibles, the koran and books on atheism.
And that's just the physical books.
In E-books I've read some fantastic works. I had been trying for a while to build up a huge e-library on the occult.
Well this sucks. As I went to search for the occult library I've built up, it's gone. I have no idea where it went or how I would have deleted it.. Fuck...

Well now i'm totally bummed out. I don't even have a list of that material.. Goddamnit. That really, really blows monkeys

Space

I'ma bonafide space nut. I remember when I was a kid, I had the first space shuttle flights newspaper clippings all over my closet door. I was entranced by the thought of going into space. I look at it maybe as explorers did the oceans of the World. Can you imagine how many lives may have been lost, the ships caught in rogue waves, vicious storms and so on, all in the hopes of finding a 'new world'... Why is it so much different when there's an accident with a space vehicle. This type of explorations HAS to be filled with challenges and risk, otherwise it wouldn't be worth doing. Humans have conquered near every continent and ocean on the planet and now we head out to the stars, but sadly at a less than turtles pace.
I even believe, that human screw ups aside, the accident that mankind had endured with the shuttle launch (and landing), the accidents with the the very first space capsules, the near catastrophe of the Apollo mission. These folk all knew the risks, yes it's sad and kinda frightening, but imagine the impact on the families of those explorers of the new world and the exploration to find the North West passage. These were sacrifices by brave men (and on the shuttles women), that helped us learn lessons and helped us to push forward.
There were many tragedies on the way to space. Including a Russian cosmonaut in training, who was completing his last test, he would have been the first Russian in space, if it had not been for one simple mistake he made in his training, he tossed a cotton ball.
Valentin Bondarenko was completing one of the last tests in his training. He was to spend 15 days in an isolation chamber. All was well until one day the chamber erupted into flames with him still in it. Because the Russian government decided to keep this accident off record, it wasn't even known about to many people, even Russians, until 1986. Valentin had been wiping some condensation off his body, about to take some tests when he simply tossed the cotton ball in the isolation chamber, the cotton ball landed on a hot plate that was in the chamber for use in making himself food. The chamber was filled with pure oxygen and was a test to see who could handle the rigors of possible isolation in space, when the cotton ball hit the hot plate, it sparked and then it all when up in flames. Valentin was rushed to hospital but later died from his more than serious burns.

The American space program also had a catastrophe with pure oxygen. Roger Chaffee, Gus Grissom and fellow astronaut Ed White II, all perished in the Liberty Bell I, when they too had an accident with pure oxygen inside their test command module. Sadly, emergency crews could not open the hatch in time to save either men. It would seem that this test module was filled with bare wires.... Electricity and pure oxygen don't mix well at all.... Lesson learned... The hard way.

I don't see these accidents as necessary, but accidents like these and the sacrifice by these brave men are what helped the space race evolve and taught us invaluable lessons. In short, like the many ships lost at sea in the effort to find the new World, there WILL be accidents along the way to space. Even the families of the shuttles catastrophes urged NASA and the US government to continue on with the shuttle programs despite the loss of their loved ones. They understood as their loved ones did that there were risks in this 'race'. I think these risks are acceptable and in a way crucial to our evolution on our way to the stars.

I often lament that we are too slow, that we're too far behind, that I wish we were years ahead in space travel. I fear that in my lifetime I won't get to see true space tourism, not just rich big whigs getting a week on the ISS (International Space Station).
I wonder had it not been for World War II if we might have been even further ahead than we are now. Grant it, Wernher Von Braun was making great strides in rocket technology, but it was really with the money from the Nazis that gave his work a real rocket boots forward. So it's hard to tell if we'd be further ahead or at the same spot.

People like Elon Musk and Bigelow Aerospace and ARCA are making serious dents in the 'space race'. NASA and the US government seriously dropped the ball many times with space exploration. Obviously, it's a high cost low return system, but since the US government has turned to the private sector for new and innovative initiatives, the private sector has responded in spades. Musk and his company has done in about a decade what NASA hasn't done in many decades and that's make space travel and business boom. Musk has made his profitable and reusable, some NASA and other space agencies have had a horrible time trying to attempt.
Musk has reusable rockets, Bigelow space has been promising a 'space hotel' for a couple of decades and is at least on the road with experiments now being conducted outside of the ISS. Virgin Galactic is working on a modest type of space tourism, but I think it's a rip off, you only get to fly to the edge of space and then you're on your way back to Earth, I mean, if you got that kind of money to piss away, good on ya, but it's nothing I'd save up for. But, I guess you have to start somewhere. Recent presidents have made Mars the goal, although some believe that setting up bases on the Moon might be a better launching point for Mars. The amount of data and information gleaned from Mars, not only from the rovers but from the probes in Mars' orbit have been groundbreaking and have been setting the bar for what needs to happen next.
Projects and programs aim to send new missions to Mars. Again, Musk has his sights set on Mars as well, even with plans to set up some kind of base.
For robotics, the Mars landers have been operating (one of them near flawlessly for 14 years) for years, when they were only expected to last months.

New robots are being designed as I type this to explore the moons of Saturn and Jupiter. These 'ice worlds' are known to have liquid oceans, these oceans have existed for millions of years and who knows what kind of life may have evolved there. Our notion that life needs sunlight to survive has been shattered with the findings of life on Earth in the most inhospitable environments. Plans for micro sats to be shot into deep space and explore for us are near completion.
Advances in ion propulsion and other propulsion engines are quickly coming up for use in space and will help pave the way for us to journey to other star systems with much greater speeds than what we have now. .

For years the people of Earth have marveled at the wonders of deep space that we've been gifted from the incredible Hubble Space Telescope (HST).
The shimmering colors visible in this Hubble Space Telescope image show off the remarkable complexity of the Twin Jet Nebula, or PN M2-9.

When Hubble was first launched in April 1990, once situated at it's orbit, the lens came off and they went to calibrate the cameras of the telescope, but were shocked and confused when none of the photos would come clear. It would seem that in the polishing process of Hubble's main lens, there was a tiny flaw and this rendered the telescope next to useless.
A mission by space shuttle Discovery went up and space cowboy Story Muskgrave was Hubble's savior as he captured the Hubble Space Telescope and they fit it with corrected optics. We've been in awe ever since.
Sadly I heard the other day that the HST's replacement, the James Webb Space Telescope has been delayed yet again and now won't be launched until sometime in 2020 (it's last delay pushed it to 2019)... JWST will be an upgrade from HST's now aged technology. We'll be able to see the beginning of the Universe in better detail, peer at the center of black holes and find new Earth like exoplanets in galaxies near and far away.

The James Webb Space Telescope now set to launch in May 2020

Just in my lifetime (from 1972) our understanding of our solar system, galaxy and the universe has grown in leaps and bounds.
To think that decades ago no one even thought that the universe had anything but stars and the notion of other life out there? Forget about it. Even just a couple of decades ago, I was telling my Father that in 10 years time they'd find liquid or frozen water on Mars and in a few years after that, they did.
Now it's not IF there's life out there, but WHEN will we find it and I do believe it will be in my lifetime.

Space and the Universe we live in was the final nail in the coffin as far as religion for me. Understanding the 'big bang' theory was enough for me to shuck off any notions that the bible had about our origins.
There's always of course question of what happened before the big bang and no one can answer that yet, but new theories and greater space probes will no doubt unlock that secret in good time,. Some theories suggest that Universes are constantly popping in and out of existence. It could very well be that our Universe could 'pop' out of existence at any moment, giving way for a new Universe to begin.
There's been some signs that at the furthest edges of our Universe lay massive 'structures' that no one yet knows what these may be.

NASA
Because of the shuttle era I became a huge 'NASA Nut'. While some people shit all over NASA and the work they do, I am a big defender of NASA and the missions they've pulled off. Including the Moon landings, which of course, like the 'flat-eathers' movement (akin to a bowel movement), there's plenty of jerks out there that have such little faith in human-kind that they do not believe that NASA has ever landed on the Moon. There's a wave out there that do not even believe there are working rovers on Mars and even more shocking and ridiculous is the movement that doesn't believe that there are even any probes in space whatsoever.
In my employed years, when I was making decent money I bought a lot of NASA merch. From patches to hats, sweatshirts and mugs to a replica of the space shuttle Discovery.

Replica of the space shuttle Discovery

We should take great pride as Canadians for the work that the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has done over the decades.
We even built one of the World first delta-winged interceptor aircraft, that shocked the Americans so much that for some reason the whole concept was scraped, the models and prototypes smashed to a billion pieces and the plans shredded. This happened so quickly that it made head spins and a massive chunk of the team that planned and built the Avro Arrow were hired on by NASA to work on the shuttle program.
We also made the Canada Space Arm, which was in service on many of the shuttles and a new version is now used on the International Space Station.
Canada has our very own astronaut hero Chris Hatfield who became famous World wide for his gravity free acoustic rendition of David Bowie's 'Space oddity' while aboard the International Space Station. Chris has flown two space shuttle mission and was the first Canadian to be 'commander' of the ISS.

I dream of going to space, but it's a pie in the sky wish. Several factors will keep me from my dream, money and health.
It costs millions of dollars to be a 'guest' on the ISS, so that's right out and then because spending time in space has a serious effect on our human skeletal system, in that our bones degrade, having the arthritis I have wouldn't be a great combo.
I have said that I'd totally volunteer to be shot off in to space and just keep going until I or the craft expire. Scenes like that from the movie 'Contact', where Jodie Foster's character is awestruck and brought to tears as she witness' some of the universes wonders with her own eyes.
Just imagine seeing a nebula or a galaxy with your own eyes, not a photo, not a video or graphic, but there in front of you.

Ahh "to dream the impossible dream"

A Great Holiday Weekend.

Well, I guess there's one day left, but it seems that easter Monday isn't much observed anymore, stores are open and everything is pretty much back to normal, with the exception of the government workers (slackers).
'Good Friday' I went down to Saint John with Gordy's fiancee's sister and her husband (I know, a bit of a recap here). We had a bite to eat and watched the vacation videos and trip pics that Gordy took. Crystal's family hadn't seen them yet, so we told them of our adventures in Cuba. Was back home early Friday evening.
Saturday I got up, went out to Superstore to grab a couple of things (which was when I was assaulted by that Montreal Canadiens Pepsi can).
Once I got home I cleared out the kitchen of everything I could, then swept and mopped the floor, did some Spring cleaning.
Today I did laundry and watched my annual easter movies; Jesus Christ Superstar and Monty Python's 'The Life of Brian'.
Such a fantastic movie. Another one of the Monty Python films my Brother's and I grew up on. I don't know about them, but I can pretty much recite whole scenes from the 'Life of Brian', 'The Holy Grail' and 'The Meaning of Life'.... It's funny how when 'Life of Brian' came out in theaters the catholics and other christian regimes threw a big hissy fit about it. "SACRILEGIOUS" they screamed!
What's life if we can't poke fun at people's beliefs? WHOOPS... Lemme trail off there, I'll have some crazy group come after me If I keep talking like that....
Tomorrow I'll tackle my living room and get that Spring cleaned... This July it will be 6 years that I moved back to Fredericton. I had a break down that first Winter. Phoned my Dad and said I'd made a horrible mistake coming back. In the Winter's I still certainly feel that way sometimes. One of the chief reasons I left Fredericton and New Brunswick was because of the Winter's. I ain't a 'Winter' kinda guy. I do love to see the snow and I love a great blizzard, but I hate the cold weather, the -30, -20, -10 below.... I love Spring, Summer and Fall here... It's a dream to be able to get away each Winter, the trip to Cuba was great, would love to do that each year, but it was barely affordable.

I love my apartment I have here. My neighbors are the best one's I've ever had (Summer BBQ's, they'll watch Elsa if I'm gone somewhere). The landlady is awesome and my place is very comfortable and very central to downtown or transit heading up the hill... Would love to see the landlady paint the outside this Summer, place is starting to look a bit haggard outside.

I've got to get in to see my doctor about my back. It's just after 7 and about an hour or so ago it started to give up on me.
From breaking my ribs to the crazy fucker I used to be on stage, twisting, contorting, rolling and jumping about. Who know's what has destroyed my back, but it sucks. I was talking to the band today and was saying that I had serious doubts about doing live shows. When we all went out the other night to see Moment of Inertia at the Capital I was able to stand, really lean up against that column for about 20 minutes before I had to sit down. IF, we do live shows, I may have to do it from a bar stool or chair.
I'm still working on teaching Elsa how  to rub the A535 on my back... I think the only set back to not having a significant other...

Hope ya'll had a great long weekend\!

A Full Moon & A Blood Thirsty Kitty

|Elsa did seem to have a bit more pep to her playing last night before bed.

Of late her favorite play toy has been this rubber ring, maybe about the size of a quarter in diameter as well as another 'ring', this one plastic and just about twice the size in diameter.

She's been going nuts over these inanimate pieces of garbage for about two weeks now. Always my concern with a house cat is keeping them active. I don't care what they want to play with as long as they are active and exercising. I stopped paying money for 'cat toys' years ago when I saw Elsa going mental over the most mundane objects, twist ties, pieces of shoe lace, pipe cleaners...

So there's the added staple that I can never forget and that is,  I MUST play with Elsa before bed or I will stand a good chance of being attacked.

So, we had a great session last night with Elsa doing the flips, spins and tumbles I saw so frequently in her youth (she's about 7-8 years old) as she chased around these rings.

I was getting ready to slip into bed and I thought Elsa had gone to eat in the kitchen when I realized I hadn't turned on the fan - Any other 'ambient noise' junkies out there?
So I got lazy last night and instead of pulling on some pajama bottoms or pants and socks. I was at least smart enough to already have on my hoodie. Trust me,  I need a padding for when the beast attacks...
Instead of putting that stuff on, I took the risk and ambled in my bare feet and underwear across to the fan. On my way back, there stood Elsa between myself and the bed.
I've got to keep going and try to get to my bed, in seconds she's gonna be coming at me and I need to get in bed and get the sheets over my legs and then I can fend her off with my arms covered by the hoodie  (Plus a long sleeve shirt under that).

So as Elsa came at my exposed legs, I  swung them up on the bed and quickly covered my them. In doing so, I inadvertently knocked Elsa back to the floor as she'd jumped for my legs.
I did get covered the next try and then coud just see Elsas outline and could hear her tail swishing across the floor.
Next thing I knew she's flying at me, teeth shining in the dark like razors, claws unsheathed, front paws  outstretched to get me. She latched onto my arm like a facehugger from Alien and began a round of intense rabbit kicking.
This is why the very last thing that I take off at night is my hoodie and long sleeve shirt,  they are my protection and do well enough to keep the skin from not being shredded off my arms like cheese in a cheese-grater.
Ears back, eyes black and digging in her claws with her front paws while furiously rabbit kicking with her hind legs.
She'll let go every so often to collect herself and then she'll shrink back, getting as small as she can before uncoiling like a viper, latching onto my arm again and going full out with another attack.
This will go on for about 5 minutes or more before she'll tire of not seeing my blood spattered all over the wall and jump off the bed and usually heads for kitchen to eat.
Odd she's never left the room and then came back and attacked me.

So wish I could capture this stuff on video!

Love this nutter!
